She has in-depth recruiting strategy experience for positions in multiple sectors: tech, entertainment, advertising, sales, media, non-profit, marketing, finance, creative, estate management, retail, and more. Rana is also an experienced non-profit board member for several organizations in the NYC area. She is also the creator of @AskABlackGirlThePodcast.

Additional passions include pop culture, traveling, yoga and being a "Boy Mom"/ “Carpool Commentator”.

Ask a Black Girl The Podcast” is the Destination Resource for Women ages 28-48 who desire culturally relevant and informative conversations about personal relationships, post-pandemic life, and parenting from a Black woman’s perspective. Hosted by MBA and Consultant turned Geriatric Millenial and “Carpool Commentator” Rana Barclay, each episode addresses the unique challenges that come with being a Black woman in modern America. 

Based on Barclay’s lifetime experience of being the “Token Black Girl”, the show delivers insights, information, and inspiration from Barclay herself and the engaging subjects at her table. Rana provides a safe space for her audience to learn and discuss the good, the bad and the ugly through thought-provoking content and mind-nourishing conversations.
